if you edit a post after someone thanks you it erases thier thanks and reduces the number in your total.

That explains why my number goes down from time to time.

I often find typos in my posts when I go back and fix them.

I had noticed that too but I THINK the thanks comes back when you refresh.

Unless one would have to click "Thanks" again, because they might not want to say "Thanks," after all, for the edited post, in case they don't agree with whatever the "edit" entails? :rolleyes: :fav03

When you say refresh what do you mean? Do I have to log off and then back on?

I have noticed it on several different occasions but have never seen it come back.
