To make a poll, you start with writing a message like you normally would. In this case, it would make sense to write about the poll. Why you post it, what the purpose is, and any explanation you feel would be useful.
Before you hit the "Submit New Thread" button, you make sure you selected the "Post a poll" option under Additional options, below your message.
There, you also need to indicate the number of options in the poll.
Then you hit the "Submit New Thread" button. When you've done so, a new screen appears called "Post a Poll"
First, you need to fill in the poll question. That is an important one! It is easy to be confusing and hard to be clear.
Next, and there is the good news, you can edit the number of poll options again. It can be convenient. :basic03
Then you write down the several options.
Lastly, you need to consider if you will allow for the users to select more than one answer. That really depends on the specific poll, of course.
After all this, you have to option to preview the poll, and if all is as it should be, to submit it. That's all!
