Perhaps this belongs under photography, but since I didn't take the pictures, I'm sharing them here.

A neighbor of mine has a photography ministry. He never charges for his services, and wanted to take some pictures of our facility in honor of our 100th anniversary. I'm sharing a few of my favorites here, as well as a link to the album.

David, the building looks nice, looks modern. I wondered, what's the idea behind the old red chairs and mirror and lamps in the hallway?

Hans, that's actually the foyer, and we are currently raising funds to replace the furnishings with something modern and possibly a flat screen monitor to run announcements in place of the mirror.

Beautiful facility, David!
I like your sign too. Glad to see you proudly announce you are a Church of the Nazarene and not just an Abundant Life Harvest Grace Fellowship Family Community
Church like everybody else is these days. (I actually had a friend attend a new church for quite a while before finding out it was Baptist of some sort!)
I guess I have some of my father in me (he was a church architect as well as being a Nazarene pastor for 43 years): I believe a beautiful building such as you have can be a great tool in reaching your community and in helping members to worship. Meeting in a school community room with folding chairs is NOT all so wonderful as some seem to think.

Pews? I have almost forgotten what they look like. Thanks for the memories!

Beautiful facility. What year was it built? Looks like it has been meticulously cared for and is set up to be appealing to people.

Give it about 20 years when all the pews are gone and young kids starting churches will invent pews all over again in order to foster greater togetherness and community. It fosters community to share a pew whereas chairs give everyone their own individualistic space.

OK so maybe that won't be the rationale, but rest assured they will come back, so don't sell'em.

Of course I've been predicting the comeback of the mullet for 20 years and that hasn't happened. Except for my hometown, where it never went out of style.

I like the light color in the sanctuary, along with the windows. Am becoming more envious!!!!

The building was dedicated in 1998. Our debt is just now right under 100,000. Yes, the people have cared for it wonderfully. In the last year we've had our first major face lift with new paint and flooring. We have slowly been replacing dated fixtures and worn furnishings.
