During yesterday’s Bear/Packer game I heard the commentators mention there’s a good possibility that both Brian Urlacher and Lance Briggs are Pro-Bowlers this year.

I told my family I wish those guys would quit bowling and just play football, for crying out loud.

The Super Bowl is the last Sunday of January, right?

And training camp begins when? The last week of July? Or first week of August?

If they want to bowl they’ve got Feb-Mar-Apr-May-Jun - at least four months to hone their bowling skills.

But they’ve got an excellent record this year and with that D-FENCE they really could go far - win the division and maybe even a game or two or three in the playoffs.

But that will not happen if they’re devoting their time to bowling.

So am I concerned?

Yes, I am VERY concerned.

I met - shook hands with - had conversations with most of the Bears this past summer and at that time they seemed focused on doing nothing except playing football.

I wonder why they're taking up bowling.

Do you?

Pamper him, pamper him ..... until we can get the crew there with the white jackets and sleeves that tie around the body.

I'm sure your Bears could use a few extra bucks during the off season, since they haven't been invited to any after season games..... they probably didn't expect to busy this off (playoff) season either..... boy they must be surprized.

I wonder if they can get their money back for all those lessons they probably paid for?

ps... pro bowling is now carried by espn as a real sport..... must be hurting worse than we think...:basic03
