Simplify the expression:

3-4x+5x+2+3x

Do you do this:
3+2=5

-4x+5x+3x ??

yea, it looks like 5 + 4x to me.

Ben, your answer is correct. I had a list of possible answers and that one fit.

(x = 2)

3-4(2)+5(2)+2+3(2)

3-8+10+2+6

3+2+2+6 = 13

5 + 4(2)

5 + 8 = 13

CHECK!
