The word "forgotten" in Mikes pool cleaner directed me to.
Against raugh lips during the cold years half we germans do have a popular lipstic with ointment, I think, it is known in many countries, its product name is Labello. Once I had a job outside in winter and got some tiny cracks in lips from the cold, but ignored because regularily such things do heal "over night". But next days they had been always in mornings hard, dry and cracked up again and became deeper - also the skin around the mouth. So on my way home I stopped on a gasoline station with shop and restaurant in one laaarge room, devided only by the restaurants cash. I looked for such a lipstick - and got one.

But I did not know, there have been two sords. A transparent like ever and a new sord, a strong red like a real lipstick and - Murphies Law - I got a red one. I entered the rest rooms for just a half minute not to been watched and did a good job - I covered a bit more than needed
and
I did not look in mirror, I had been just one step from door away and normally everybody does not need a mirror to find the own mouth, right?

I returned to the shop and went out to my car - but people in shop and sitting in restaurant saw at me and begun to laugh spontaneous and loudly. I wondered about, but had not seen a reason so I ignored the laughters, entered the car and continued to go home. While waiting in front of the traffic light on the streets junction where my family lived, a neighbour called me and made a sign to turn down the windows glass and asked me who did knock me. I asked back - I did not understand why he asked such a grotesque question. "Because the blood in your face" he shouted. I looked in the cars mirror - and must laugh about myself - I looked like a clown with an extremely oversized mouth.

The transparent was for many years the only one. How could I have been warned? Like every year before I took just one - not looking on the box it was offered in - especially not in hurry on way from / to workplace not to leave more time as needed.
The coloured versions are not as old.

To laugh about has been my desire, otherwise I had not told.

Murphies Law always does teach humor.
Got a brand new and extraordinairy expansive necktie on birthday by the kids?
Be sure,
while breakfast with the worthful new thing and in good suit
you get a very elegant spot of jam on the brand new and extraordinairy expansive necktie.
The best we can do is to laugh about and
take a photo - if possible, - share the fun with others.

Carsten, I use the same stuff. Never knew there was a different type of it! Thank you for warning me! :basic03

Dear Hans,

what, all people seen on a gas station with restaurant made the same "mis - take" like me and looked like clowns with oversized mouthes?
What a fun!

Why we do not from time to time by will?
It would make life easier - to learn to laugh instead of to make a bitter face.
