passed away October 5th--mother in law of Jim Monck. Her son William and his wife Kathy were very dear to my mother when he pastored in
Rock Hill, S.C. He followed Rev. Mrs. Vvian Pressley, whom had been the pastor at Rock Hill West main for 40 years. She followed Rev. Joseph Finger, father of the late Professor Larry Finger.

Tho't about them when reading the heading, the name being close. Sure enough, since you're talking about Jim Monck's mother-in-law [wife Sharon's mom], you meant Ulmet.

13958 Jim & Sharon, Sorry to hear this news.
While speaking of parents, how are yours doing in Florida, Jim?

Here daughter, Peg Ulmet, graduated from Olivet with me. I had forgotten that Jim was a brother-in-law to Peg.
Nazarene news gives a lovely tribute to this fine woman of prayer.

I knew Ethelyn and her brother, Leon, as a child in South Dakota in 1940 and I believe the Ulmets were my cousins' pastor in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Leon lives near me here in the Boise area and participated in the meeting I recently reported on regarding a new NNU president.

Our Youth Pastor Theresa Garner is a granddaughter, she has been gone to the funeral this week. She is a daughter of Bill and Kathy. What a great family they are.

A good friend just got off the phone and told me that she sang a solo at the funeral today. She loved the Ulmet family and was with Dr. Ulmet, who was the pastor, when he died there at the church several years ago. She had gone in to do some office work and was so glad that someone was there that Saturday to help him at that crucial time.
The Ulmets chose a beautiful portion of the country to purchase their only home and it is in that community they are now both buried. The cemetery is a short walking distance from the Bella Vista church and many people chose to walk it today.
Great family - great legacy!
Sympathies to the Ulmet family,

A few of you will remember that Hardy Ulmet was one of the original members of NazNet.
