Ft. Worth, TX Northside CotN has paid off the mortgage on the property and will burn the mortgage in a special Sunday morning service.
That brings up a question. Which do you feel is better; to have debt-free church property or to have an ongoing building program that's the sign of a growing church?

That is not always a sign of a growing church. Some pastors loved to build. Dwayne did, but I hate to see a church get deep in debt, and then the pastor "walks off" and leaves a struggling church with the debt. My opinion.

Northside held our mortgage burning today. The property is debt-free and valued at approximately $3.3 million.

At that rate, in another 3 months or so he should be on top of the most post's list, so you'd better watch your back Hans.:basic03

Unfortunately, I start a 3 PM-Midnight shift tomorrow and will actually have to WORK most of my shift :basic04 so Hans is probably safe.

Let me tell you a secret, I'm actually not aiming at the goal of being #1 on the most posts list. In fact, I would be happy not to be there.

Wait a minute!! How did this get from mortgage burning to work shift!? When I posted, it barely had any posts in it (mine was about the 3rd one!!) UNLESS I'd had the thread open long enough that I only saw the first two, and many posted before I got mine in where I THOUGHT it was just the 3rd one!
'Think I know what happened, so ............
*** WARNING Y'ALL!! Be careful about posting something in a thread you've had open too long [I have several open at once, usually, reading now & then]. It may not FIT where it ends up, after all, when you tho't it was posted ELSEWHERE in the line-up!! Oh, boy ..............
USE ** REFRESH!! ** before posting if it's been open a bit long.
***************
*** BACK AGAIN *** I guess mine was about 3rd under the PICTURE, not under the original post. However, I didn't even recall there being any earlier talk re shifts, etc, having it open on the picture to post "later" long enough to forget it wasn't the **FIRST** picture in the thread.
Again *** REFRESH *** might be a good idea, if you've let a thread sit too long before posting. It might help. ;)

Now, Hans, was it really necessary to say his posts are average? ;-)
Oh, did you mean average number? LOL.
