Anybody at ONU involved in the Bears' training camp this year?

Isn't it just a little bit weird that NFL football players occupy the Woman's dorm at Olivet? In just a few weeks female students return to the very sleeping quarters and shower rooms where disgusting football players burped and farted all over the place. I sure hope Olivet is getting paid some good $$$ for this.

Olivet gets paid some great money for having the Bears practice at Olivet, not even including the revenue it brings to Bourbonnais. Not sure you will find a nicer field (within NAIA) than Ward Stadium.

Didn't the Bears pay for that dorm so they'd have a better place for the players to stay? I know they made a bunch of improvements to the athletic facilities.

They made massive improvements to the athletic facilities. My daughter played soccer there and the first year was also the first year of the Bears being there. The improvements to playing/practicing fields, locker rooms, weight rooms, etc were astounding over her four years there. No way that happens without the Bears. I wonder if it has any measurable effect on enrollment? Maybe some kid that comes to watch the practice and decides maybe ONU is a place to give a look?

Well, it sure gets ONU mention in the press. I was using Google Alerts and received an email every time the word "Nazarene" is mentioned in news articles. I have to turn it off this time of year because I was getting 15-20 emails a day referring to the Bears and ONU.
