Am I hard to understand??

A very good friend told me today I have been around cops too long. They said "People are afraid of what you have experianced!" They added, "They dont understand you, how it makes you tick!"
Is this true?
I'm gratefull for that friends insights!

It is very true that many people are afraid of the known!!!

Can anyone truley understand what it is like to have to be a cop or social worker to there own kids - all 4 of them?

Can anyone understand how to get services for clients with severe mental health issues?

Would a person who has not gone through major trials in their lives understand? Many will try to understand!!!
Many will try to understand and many will go out an learn.

BUT my Friend you are one awesome person.

You have seen so much that I can't totaly understand and I never will - because I have not gone through it.
I listen and hold you and your family in my heart.

My computer is always on to talk and you can call my home or cell whenever you need to.

I have many friends that are cops - they react so different. Not sure if this is a good thing - but as we have shared stories of what we do, we can laugh together at times. Yep freaks people out. Hey that is life.

So my Friend - be you, and keep teaching me. It gives me insight.
I hope I do not have to go through what you have.
