The reason I asked was because one of my father's fellow pastors on the Georgia District was a Jess Middendorf (obviously NOT the GS) and then when my parents were on staff at Trevecca, in the early 50's, I knew a Bob Middendorf from St Louis. Just idle curiosity.

Jesse Middendorf in Georgia, was probably our Gen. Supt's father. I think he was on the Tn. district, when we went there from the Mississippi district. But, I think, he is on the Tn. district now-retired.
