Ian, it looks like you have the comments set up so only people with "Live Journal" accounts can post. You need to change the permissions for comments so anyone can post.

Yes! I found the setting and I think I have fixed it. Hal is correct, apparently the default setting is that only LJ users can post replies. I have changed that setting to "Everyone".
