I just discovered that the "default" on this software is to send you email notification when someone posts to a thread for which you have subscribed. It is easy to change that feature if you don't want the email notification.

Just click on FAQ and type email. It will lead you through the process of changing the notification feature.

I like that feature because it lets me know that someone has responded to my post. It would be easy to overlook a response until I learn the software better.
