Just in case anyone dosent know what I'm talking about, the christingle goes way back, beleived to have come from eastern Europe. You have an orange which represents the world. You put a candle into it, signifying Jesus the light of the world. You attach nuts and sweets to it signifying God's good gifts. Then lastly you tie a red ribon round the orange signifying "Jesus blood shed for all the world. We all get one and have them lit as we sing the last carol, very moving.
