Packers 37, Lions 26

"Brett Favre fumbled on his first play of the game. It was about the only mistake he made."

Favre threw for 381 yards today!!!

3 touchdown passes giving him the NFL record for games with 3 or more TD passes with 63.

At one point in the game today he threw 20 completions in a row.

Just 506 passing yards to go for the NFL passing yards record.

Farve was Awsome.

I love my Lions but the paskers look really good.

Perhaps they will be New Englands Sacrifical Lamb from the NFC,

I read someone the other day who suggested that the Packers might be the only team who could bring enough "intangibles" to the field to beat New England this year.... (It was his theory that without the "intangibles" no one was going to beat them this year.)

Of course; it's how it usually pans out, no? :basic05

How'd this tradition get started, anyway? Did someone suggest it would be nice to have a "friendly holiday game with our neighbors across the water" (Lake Michigan)?

Are you referring to the Packers-Cowboys which will be on the NFL Network Thursday night and thus viewed by more people in persona than on TV?

That would be the game. Living in Missouri I have become accustomed to not actually seeing the Cowboys games. Even if this game were the game of the week on Fox it would be preempted by the 2-9 Rams
