I am challenged to do this through Yancy's book. I mean, how many christians in west actualy pray for them? Oh i dont condone their acts in any way, but i prayed for them as humane beings loved by God, suffered for on the cross by Jesus. As i prayed, i realised they have famalies, fears, pain. I prayed that any planning attacks would cease to do so. I also prayed for their hatred of the west, and realised we arent such wonderfull people after all! If we beleive prayer has an affect, join me in praying for these people, let God's love loose to work in their hearts and lives.

My husband often reminds me to simply pray God's best for all our enemies.

I agree with your husband, hatred in return acheives nothing.

Ian, I'm ashamed to say, that terrorist have not occupied much space on my prayer list. Your post has encouraged me to begin praying for them. Who knows? God may be waiting for our prayers so He can answer them.
