Even though BSU did not win as I hoped they would I am very pleased to see how far Dan Hawkins has brought along the Colorado Buffaloes.

I did not get to see the BSU-Hawaii game but picked it off the internet play by play. Seems to me the Broncos did not play their "A" game as I expected them to do and which I am sure for which Chris Peterson tried to prepare them. I would have expected more interceptions by the safeties and cornerbacks. Brennan will go pretty high in the draft.

Cody Hawkins took his high school to the state championship along with the son of Gene Blaimeier, the BSU athletic director.

Hawaii may make the BCS yet. Texas will drop below them, with a week of conference championship games next week, plus an evening of big games tonight. They could get there. I just didn't think they'd get by Boise State.
