We suddenly facing up to trauma, what folks have been affected with, in last years. Not here, i mean world wide. We are facing fact that much mental illness is caused by it, and at last trying to help, but slowly. Was talking to a NazNetter a few mi nets ago about this. Two days ago talked to an Emergency Services friend who has a bad time, it left me almost screaming! Not his stories, but own emotions. Last year was in a church where speaker was talking about forgiveness, using illistration i knew of so well in reality, took all i had not to walk out.
We need to get to grips with this subject, esp as more and more kids are coming back from war zones with pictures in their minds that will never vanish.
Forgive me for saying this, but churches are still a bit behind in helping those folks, why so many i know reject church.
This is not a condemnation, but hopefully a wake up call.
