Christmas Village

Having now collected about 14 Nativity sets I thought I would turn my energies to a Christmas village.

This year I have six buildings and many figurines. I figure I'll keep building on it each year.

Does anyone else have a village? Any special effects you create?

What's the best way to make a realistic ice skating pond (I have a couple of figure skating people and a dog on skates as well)

Very nice. We don't have one, but our pastor has been collecting pieces for years. It takes a couple of tables now.

My mother-in-law has a village that is pretty much the width of her living room and is two tables wide. She uses mirrors for her ice skating ponds.
