Today was the Seattle Marathon. We are really proud of our son, Denny, for completing the marathon. Here are some pictures:

Aren't we proud of our sons? I know you are proud of your son being a Christian, also.
When you had heart surgery, he came on here teasing and pretending he was going to really "run the show" while you were away. ha

His time was just under 5 hours which was "average" for those who completed the race as "runners." They have a different category for "walkers."

I consider myself to be a "long distance hiker." When I hike 12 miles in a day, I consider that to be a good day. I may consider trying to walk the marathon next year with a goal of doing it in 10 hours.

Shannon completed her second triathlon (on your left in the photo)
no small feat for her..as she has a fear
of Pacific ocean swimming..this is my child who as a teen,
slept until noon on Saturdays
