What will it be like, what do you imagine it to be like, what scriptures help us see it as it is? I can only imagine it will be wonderful. My old college president said, "You can eat there for shear enjoyment not for necessity". I like his view, its to be enjoyed, full of joy and fun. What is your vision of Heaven?

I contend that we know as much about heaven as a baby in the world knows about living in this world.
My view of heaven is a dimension of infinite peace and joy where none of our present constraints of space/time apply.

I often see it as a perfect creation, grass greener than green, water springs so clear, no size, just goes on forever. I am not sure however i will feel awed in presence of great saints, in end we all will be!

I don't think we can know what Heaven will be like. I know it's where I want to go when I die. The descriptions in the Bible are trying to use earthly language for something that can't really be described in a way that is understandable to us. We will know when we get there.

Of course it will look like the Scottish Highlands, only, the weather will be better!

I think that in substance, Heaven, will be quite similar to Earth. Obviously, it will be better, but basically of the same nature.
I think lifestyles will be similar as well. I think we wil work, sleep, eat, recreate, listen to music, read books, have awesome conversations, etc.

I've had two times in my life that I dreamed I was in heaven. In both, I didn't see anything but I was bathed in such incredible joy, light and peace that I was sad when I woke up.
I think those two experiences have shaped me. I really don't think much about what heaven will be like. I do trust that God will get it right...and that everything that we will need for complete, eternal joy will be there.

Which would be because heaven is only an intermediate place to stay, we'll end up and stay on the new earth?

On a more serious note, to me heaven (either in actual heaven, or on the new earth) is a place where God is all in all. Where we no longer see "through a glass darkly" but "know even as also I am known". Or as John says it, "we shall be like him".
And, btw, if we define hell as the absence of God, and heaven be the opposite, then surely heaven must be the pervading presence of God.

1 Cor. 2:9
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen noe ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
Isaiah 64:4 For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor seen no preceived by the ear, neither has the eye seen, Oh God beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waitheth for him.
After all of that, I have put in an order of a good clean lake to skinny dip in and also to have many animals to love.
Of course my daughter Susie will be there with her Daddy showing me around and have the upper hand as a giude.

1 Cor. 2:9
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen noe ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
This passage is not about Heaven. Verse 9 should never be quoted without verse 10, because verse 10 completely changes the meaning.
1 Cor. 2:9-10
However, as it is written:
"No eye has seen,
no ear has heard,
no mind has conceived
what God has prepared for those who love him"— but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit.
While we haven't "seen" it, God has revealed it. Paul is talking about God's "wisdom" here with regard to his plan for salvation. We don't know it by natural processes (eyes, ears, thoughts) but because God revealed it to us by his Spirit.
