Don't know what I did or I'd undo it but I now have a bar at the bottom twice the size it used to be ( width ) and I can't get it back to normal . Two reboots did nothing .I have tried everything I can think of and have caused other problems doing that but I managed to rectify those but nothing fixes that bar . I am sure its something very simple as I sure did it easily but I can't figure it out . Thank you if you can help .

I like my task bar double sized and leave it there all the time, but here's a youtube that tells how to move/resize the bar.
In fact, I've found that googling "how to" items with youtube to be a great way to learn things - ranging from computer stuff to installing an equalizer hitch on my camper!

Thanks Scott . Took watching the video twice as I was gaving trouble getting the double arrow to show up . I need the bar narrower as my screen is small enough as it is without taking off more viewng area .

Marg, when you're on the internet, if you hit F11 the top tool bars on your browser will disappear and give you more viewing area for the web site. Then all you have to do is hit F11 again to have it reappear or just move your mouse up there. I have found that very useful on my netbook, which is so small....

Dana, that's cool!
Thank you.

Dana, I didn't know that; if I ever heard/read it, it went right over my head, or I forgot it as soon as I heard/read it. Thanks! ;)

I usually do that for viewing pictures and have recently found it useful for surveys or you do a lot of scrolling . (I always do the Swiss Chalet survey as you get free chicken soup. a garden salad or perogies with an entrée on your next visit - as often as you want - 100% up to $ 5.99 . )That F11 is really a helpful tool . What I really need is a new computer . Looks like my friend who set me up with this one isn't going to help me with a new one . When I talked to him in May he agreed I needed a new one but that was it . He was away a lot but has been home a few weeks now .Guess I'll have to see what I can do on my own . It'll cost more as I'll need help getting things transferred but its not impossible .
