I wasn't sure if it would be this week or next week. It was this week!

Winning today, the Packers locked up a bye for round one.

For another couple years until Peyton takes all the record away from him.

It's fun to see these kind of men setting these records. Once again a record is set by someone who is a fine individual. Not everyone is so blessed to be able to set records, but one thing seems to be consistant and that is that those who blaze the trail the right way seem to reap the benefits.

Bret Favre, Dan Marino, John Elway and so on are great role models.

Couple years? That would require Brett to immediately retire and Peyton to have a couple back-to-back 10,000 yard seasons!

Records are destined to be broken but Brett will some of these longer than a couple years...

You might want to live in Colorado a couple years before you throw Elway into that mix. I certainly wouldn't want any of my (non-existent) kids to grow up like him. He might be a responsible adult, which is more than can be said for the majority of athletes these days, but he's not a role model.

Perhaps it reveals I'm a little twisted but I have to confess that I was a little excited when he got that one, too!

A lot of intercepts means a lot of risky throws and the way I see it: No guts, no glory!
