My computer is out-of-order so I'm sneaking a minute on my husband's laptop from work. God works in mysterious ways. I think basically no computer is going to be a good thing for now. Just need it when I start school in Januart:love):love)

Loraine, if you sneak another peek, how're things over there in Plymouth? Seems that most of the time I was over there (about 3.5 yrs total), there was less snow than in West Michigan (tho' still too much for my taste! ;), because it was so far east of Lake Michigan, & Lake Huron dumped on Canada rather than USA.

Anyway, 'heard tonight on the news there was supposed to be something like a foot of snow in the Detroit area. While some places here have a good bit, we got closer to 5-6" ... less than there. Interesting ... must be that the wind went rather in circular fashion and bro't some of that Lake Huron snow to its western shore rather than all to the east? It did look here yesterday as tho' sometimes the neighbor's Christmas things were blowing from east to west rather than the more usual west to east.

ps we got 8 inches of snow Pretty much all the schools were closed today. Paul said the main roads were fine, once he got out of our unplowed parking lot.
