This is the first Christmas that we have had family (my mother in law and brother in law)living in the same town. I am torn with the way things have always been (they would come to visit, but everything was in my house), and torn with wanting them to establish new traditions in their new home and with grandchildren and keeing everything that would be 'easy' for me. Whew... I will 'go along' with what ever the plan is, I am just praying that it is a transition we can make smoothly.

Change can be difficult. I think that it's great that you realize what's going on and are trying to deal with it appropriately:)

Just have a grand time at either place. After awhile their is no one left and one is alone. It just happens that way in life.
