Word action Sunday school

I have to preach and teach Sunday school at a church that uses Word Action Adult Sunday School Lit. Can anyone tell me what the scripture is for 12/23.

Matthew 1:18-25; 2:1-12 "Receive the Messiah."

After preparing for the Messiah and expecting the Messiah, "receiving the Messiah."

I have appreciated the accent on the idea of the Jesus coming the first time, Jesus coming to me at my salvation and how Jesus continues to come to me as I worship Him today.

The line that leapt off the page for me in the lesson: "Unless we offer Him our most prized possessions, we have not worshipped Him, we have only indulged in a pleasant feeling about Him."

I have been considering what that means to me personally. My most prized possessions. Hmm. My independence? My "spare time"? My family? Hmm.
