Fractostratus sometimes called "buttermilk skies" made famous in an old Western song. They can be precursors to colder weather in the northern areas and probably cooler weather where you are. Terri, tell me if this is the case.

we have been relatively cloudless except for yesterday. We are having seasonally warm weather (70+ during the day 50-60 at nite but for a few chilly 40 mornings)
I haven't dug out the long johns yet, but I will if my *weather guy* predicts I should!
blessings,
Terri
ps we are supposed to get chillier and chance of rain this weekend (we need it) up and until Christmas

Only wear long johns over the next few days if you wear a red suit over them. Only makes sense.
