Exercise Routine

If you're over 30, you might want to take it easy at first, then do it faster as you become more proficient.

It may be too strenuous for some.

Always consult your doctor before starting any exercise program!

SCROLL DOWN...

NOW SCROLL UP...

That's enough for the first day...

Great job!!!

I have a little 2'' square block . I throw it on the floor evry morning and run around it several times each morning.
When I get back from my many runs around the block I'll do a few minutes of scrolling.
That should help my New Years resolution.

Is it OK to have a block smaller than two inches to run around, or should I scroll back down, and follow Mike's new exercise program?

The block can be as big or small as you need. I needed a 2" block to fit
into my new plan for the new year.
I am hoping to add an inch a month. With doing the block and the scrolling
both, I don't know if I am capable of it or not. Time will tell.
I always sit reachable goals.

Sue, when Dwayne got home from meeting with a bereaved family, I told him that I knew a new way to lose weight. So, we went into the living room, and I put his
rubix cube in the floor and ran around it. Of course, I had to explain and he thought it was funny. I was running around a square block. In fact, it was a block of blocks.

Wow, so really you ran around over a dozen blocks! I must say, I admire your stamina!

I like to sit to reach goals too, Sue. ;)

OK, when I type fast my grammar, English, spelling and everything else goes goofy. :o

But it is more interesting I suppose to set goals that you can sit to reach.

:q) Right clicking and left clicking my mouse iw hard enough! But I do think I'll try Mikes new exercise program and maybe walking around a "small block" down here, then running around heaven someday.:laughing

I think this is all a big ruse. He tells us all we have to do is scroll up and down, but then we feel compelled to comment, and that requires way more exercise. I feel so cheated.

Mike Wooldridge
4th January 2008, 10:33 PM (22:33)
You're on to me, Charlotte! But exercise is good for you, right?

Charlotte Mercer
4th January 2008, 10:58 PM (22:58)
Yeah, that's what they say, but I'm not sure I believe them. I'm fairly sure if it were really good for me, it wouldn't be so hard. Everyone knows that the good stuff comes easy, right?

Anne and Dwayne Hood

Charlotte, where did you study Math? I ran around 54 blocks, besides the fact, that the whole cube was a block in itself. And, my jeans were still tight, when I put them on today. Let's see, how many times would I have to run around the Rubics cube to lose 15 pounds? Then, I would weigh 133 pounds, and therefore, I would not look like a block, as wide as I am tall.

Anne,
I am glad you have found a "colorful" way to exercise (Rubic's Cube).
I knew they were invented for some reason.
I truly want to work toward fitness this year.
The word diet will never be in another resolution I make.
I am trying to stay focused on changing my "lifestyle".

Of course you could start out slow and work up. You wouldn't want your computer to over due it and blow a fuse or something.

Those are for your computer, like a screen saver. Computers make our lives easier. One way they can do that is to exercise for us :fun06
