Wanted to say hi, my name is Katy I was here a few years ago. My husband is in the Army and deployments have set my time to almost nothing on naznet so I let it go for a while. I am back, Still living in Hawaii, my husband just returned from his 2nd deployment in 3 years, I am attending the Nazarene Bible college online, Took on the paid position of our church as the Children's pastor. I have a huge heart for inter-city kids, and hawaii has many of them. Can't wait to get to know you ladies again.

Yup Katy! Our 6th Grandchild.....a little girl! she was born 7/7/07 and was 7lb 7oz! The Newspapers went wild and put her picture in the Newspapers. She was even on TV! Imagine that! WE GOT A GIRL!!!!! WE WERE SO THRILLED!!!! We love all our boys....but a girl......so sweet!
(I need to change my little picture ... I haven't figured out how to do that on my new computer! Everytime I see that picture, I shiver! hahaha! Shorts in the winter!)

WOW a girl finally, With all those boys around her, she will not have to worry about protection when she gets older. The boys will be afraid to come around her with all her cousins =). Shorts are a must here in the winter. I wore Shorts for christmas even went to the beach and made a sandman with the boys. But I can only imagine the snow on the ground where you live .. BRRRRRRRRRR

We have had such beautiful snowfalls and many days with everything all frosty....a winter wonderland! I carry wood in each day to help heat the house. We've had temps in the minus a number of times. We are supposed to get in the 30's tomorrow...we'll see! I'll have my daughter help me post some pictures next week. It's time that I learn how to do that with my new computer.
So you made a sandman rather than a snowman! We haven't had the right temps to make snowmen yet. When the weather gets right, we'll see lots of snowmen around! We went sledding on Christmas Eve. All the things I could have done to get ready for Christmas. Know what....SLEDDING was the best thing to do! We all had a lot of fun!

I'm at coming up on 2 years into it. Took off a few months because my husband came home from a 15 month deployment. But will be starting back up hopefully next session.
