Thought it might be nice to start a thread in which the women who post here say one thing that they are praising God for as we begin 2008.

What do you think?

I'll go first.

I praise God that in just a few weeks I'll be finished working at MADD and be working for the church instead. Juggling MADD responsiblities with my Chaplaincy/church duties was becoming too stressful. Now the church is in a position to hire me to do the things that I am already doing (plus a little bit more). I will be staying on with MADD as a volunteer victim services worker.

God is good!

Thankful that when I fell it was not my eye [but just under it] that got a bit smashed; would not have been good for one's eyeball ... it's nice to see. ;)

I'm thankful for the field trip my work sent me on with the school agers on Thursday. I was able to bring my own girls too. We were snow shoeing and tobaggoning. We all had a blast. I can't believe I got paid to have so much fun! :)

Well, if I started listing things that I Praise God for, when could I ever cease?
I have the most Christlike, wonderful husband in the world.
We have three children that love the Lord, and grandchildren that love Him, also.
We have a roof up above us, a good place to sleep, food on our table, and shoes on our feet. He gives us His love, and a a fine family. Thank you, Lord, for your blessings on me. What else could I ask for?-- and there's more to come yet! Praise His Wonderful Name. That is the kind of things, one can reach out and touch, can see with our eyes, and hear with our ears. Right?
