I need a crash course on:
post-modernism
theism
emergent church
and some of the other terminology that it used on this board.
Thanks.

Robert Webber's book, The Ancient-Future Church is good, I think.
Stan Grenz has a book called Renewing the Center that's a little easier to read than his Primer on Postmodernism (both are excellent).
A great discussion on Open Theism can be found in:
Clark Pinnock, Most Moved Mover
and
John Sanders and Christopher Hall, Does God Have a Future?
Just a start....
Blessings,

First I would suggest going to wikipedia and doing some basic research into the topics. Second I would suggest going to ChristianityToday.com and plug those into their search for articles. These would give you a basic understanding of some of the issues as well as arguements for or against.
