Today started out like most, waking up late, rushing around trying to give medication to kids, shots to elijah along with checking blood levels. Gathering everything by the door for the children's ministry and rushing out the door. to stop by the donut shop to get grindige for the kids =).
Getting to church already tired from the mornings activities, running in the church to find my husband at the sound system where he's been at since 6am give him a quick goodmorning and kiss.
Then I was hit, hit by children screaming, throwing balls, jumping to the praise music already going. The site was wonderous, my heart from all the stress of the morning was relieved at that one quick moment.
Christ says he inhabits the praise of his people, then he was present in the children at The Bridge church this morning. I left church this afternoon with a spring in my step knowing God has blessed me with a wonderful ministry and beautiful children that love the lord. Praise God.

Katy, yesterday, I was thinking of three of our adopted grandchildren. Our daughter and her husband would sit on the back pew with them before they turned 1, 2 and 3 years old. They tried to sing, as the congregation did, and they sounded so beautiful. I cannot think of a word to explain how precious and sweet their little melodious voices sounded. Jeanne would not let them go to the nursery. At that time, they were still foster children, and she was keeping an extremely close watch on them. But, later, she did not want her two birth children in the nursery, for some reason, unless she was the nursery atttendant that week. Once, one of them said, "We aren't real children. We are foster children." We tried to straighten that out for them.

I can imagine how you felt uplifted. Mother use to say, "I can take peaceful noise."
That sounds like the way you feel, also.

Yes, Anne ... do have a hard time with noise in general tho', sometimes; most likely b/c I grew up with the raucous sort of noise ... constant battling.

Checking blood levels and shots sounds familiar to this mom. Does Elijah have juvenile diabetes? My daughter has had this since she was 8.
