John received a call from a friend at our local hospital this morning at 3:10. A retired elder on our district, just age 65, died after a very short battle with an aggressive brain cancer.

When John got to the hospital, a couple from our church that are close friends with this retired elder and his wife, was also there comforting the family. After a while, Charles, this close friend, shared with John what had happened to him just before he received the call to come to the hospital.

Charles had a dream that awakened him at 2:30. He dreamed that he was standing beside the hospital bed of this friend. This friend looked up, smiled, threw his arms wide and said, "Charles, I have had my miracle."

Our friend stopped breathing at 2:30. The staff tried to revive him but could not.

Another wonderful thing....I was already awake when the cell phone rang with the wife asking us to come to the hospital. John had left the cell phone on the kitchen table instead of on his dresser. If I had not already been awake (you know, with a nightly trip down the hall, lol) I would not have heard the phone ring. I believe God woke me up so I would hear the cell phone ring.

Whatever you want to call it - I believe God does it. As I have shared before - when my grandfather died my mom didn't want to be the one to tell me but she was the one making the calls. When my phone rang, I had my husband answer it because somehow I knew not to answer.

God seems to work that way. There have been times that dreams have come, that seemed to be from God. Dwayne has had a couple of visions, when he was wide awake. Many have veered away from things about dreams, but the Bible seemed to have a number of instances, where they were used. I fully believe the dreams or circumstances were from God.
