I received an e-mail today, where the sender wants to give me a lot of money if I will just give them all my bank info. HA!
BTW, the return e-mail address is the United Kingdom.

This is a new twist, at least to me. Here is how it starts off:
" My name is RICHARD ZUMA The eldest son of MR. FRANCIS ZUMA, of Zimbabwe. You might be surprised as to where I got your contact address from; I got it from the South African Chamber of Commerce in Johannesburg. During the current war against commercial farmers in Zimbabwe from the support of our PRESIDENT. ROBERT MUGABE, to claim all the white owned farms in the country, all the white farmers were ordered to surrender all their farms to his party members and his followers. My father was one of the best farmers in our country and because he did not support Mugabe’s idea, mugabe’s supporters invaded my father’s farm, killed my father, made way with a lot of items from my father’s farm and burnt everything else."

And I get 20% of 26,000,000. WOW!
NOT!!

I wish someone would invent a filter that would block all mail from the continent of Africa. That would eliminate 90% of my spam.

Only problem is that they don't necessarily come from Africa.
As I indicated, this one had a reply address in England.
They can come from any place, and the schemes (stories) seem to change from time to time.

These scams put a black mark on all the good people of Africa. Last year the organization I work for sent money by Western Union to a Nazarene in Nigeria for his work there. The people at Western Union questioned us to make sure we knew who we were sending it to. I'm glad the asked, but it's too bad that they feel they have to.
