... said she didn't like what she'd been becoming, needed to find some way to change her life, so went to the library & found this book.
This is a Stormie Omartian book; she has several on the subject, and they're basically good. Assured her of this, and she was glad to hear that, and added that she "value(s) (my) opinion." How about that ... needed that little affirmation, myself, after a few rough days of late.
Anyway, pray that she'll not only learn how to help her & her hubby, but find the Lord through this, too.

Stormie Omartian is a spirit filled Christian. I hope this doesn't sound off-key but I can sense the Holy Spirit in her writings. His directing me, that is. I know Stormie's walk is a close and serious one with the Lord and her writings do not bring any attention to herself but directs one's focus on the Lord.
I will pray for your friend!

Gina,
Let me give a little more clarification. I do have hope that your friend may find the Lord through this. I've actually read the book and one of Stromie's strong points right in beginning is praying for ourselves also and having the right relationship with the Lord.
In some of those "Power of Praying" books, I think she does speak to the readers about salvation and how to do it. It has been a while since I read the Praying Wife book, but I am sure it is in there too.
In prayer for her,
Andrea

Wonderful book, I will begin to pray that it causes a whole spirit and life change for her.

Yes, that book is very good, but I haven't read it since our 46 year old daughter was a teen.
There is another one by a lady with the last name of Christenson, I think, that we read back then--What Happens When Women Pray,? I think is the title.

I have that book outlined in the Unsaved husbands thread.
