... re both something that it's been doing a wee bit of [hopefully minor, but I was wondering re tranny adjustment, since it downshifts rather clunkily at times several seconds after I've slowed down (such as after entering a parking lot while not yet stopped). Asked re its being either that, or perhaps a (loose?) front end adjusting clunk, being on the level once again in the parking lot, after being at an uphill angle going into the parking lot uphill driveway, as they are from the road to the lot.

Actually, wondered the last week or two re this, but haven't driven much, its being winter. Got it about half full (gas), only put gas in it once (filled), and have more than a half tank yet, so it's not gotten the workout it should get during that first crucial 30-day deal from the dealer. But I just don't get in it to drive ... just to drive ......... normally. Might have to, hey?

Another thing ... told him re the bills I've recently received re this fall/hospital visit. Was shocked, the reputation he has (a good one) around town, when he goes: "Well, Jeepers, it wasn't my fault!"

I go, "Well, it wasn't mine, either. That's why they call it 'an accident.' That's what property insurance is for ... for things that are accidents that happen on one's property. I surely would not have chosen to go to the doctor with 3 weeks left in the year for anything voluntary, so I could pay my yearly deductible, and then turn around and have a deductible hit me in the face as soon as the new year got here. I've have put off anything voluntary, so this fall really belongs under your property insurance, rather than my paying a couple of hundred $, only to have that staring at me again in less than a month." (I'm not happy; I don't like conflict like this.)

Actually, after I hung up, I tho't, "It was too your fault! You had that danged BAR STOOL in your office with that bar on which to smash my face, break my nose (still not right). Had I tripped & fallen on just the floor, I'd have picked myself up, taken myself home, and 'nursed' myself through my aches & pains from falling." He already had 3-4 regular sit-down chairs there; how many people come all at once to deal re a vehicle, anyway? That bar stool was totally unnecessary, and---had it not been there---I'd not have had a smashed face, broken nose, et cetera.

And his body man is still out of town ... he was to fix that thing; don't let him get nasty, please, Lord, re this medical bill deductible thing, and not do that (it wasn't in writing, so .............). Please, Lord ......................

Thanks for praying he comes through, according to his reputation, in spite of his "it's not my fault!" stance today. Maybe his wife can get through to him re this; he's told me things Carol has said before that made sense (one of those, "Behind every man ..." stories, it appears, maybe? ;))

I hate to say this - but if you were injured in his place of business and he isn't coming through on your medical bills - you might need to see a lawyer. A good reputation doesn't pay your doctor's bills.

That's right. Rather think he'll rethink this over the weekend [w/the help of Carol---my old teacher "eons" ago], and come through. Already mentioned to him, "Hey, not suing you, for Pete's sake!" Would hate for it to have to come to that ... I really would ... never have done that, tho' I could sure use some $$$. [actually, he somewhat surprised me when I told him I now had those bills that I'd have to bring by, too.]

Another thing, this isn't all over with yet physically, either. Glasses bother my nose where it was busted ... hey, I need them. Do I need a "nose job" to smooth it out enough so it doesn't get bothered just from trying to see? Then there's my knee that was nearly recovered from all the VanAndel Arena steps up & down from the concert 6 days earlier [you see, in trying to protect my back from the multitudinous steps, I overdid it with one knee, rather than using two, which then swings my back to the hurting position; that's why it was a knee problem, rather than back problem, from the arena steps]. Anyway, now---a month after I fell---I don't walk very far, & my knee's nearly making me get one of those carts when grocering ... a month ................. This was one bummer of a fall! :(
