View Full Version : NazNet Meeting -- Arizona
Dana Grant

Well, we had a fun time of visiting and catching up on each other last night.
It was kind of every man for himself, since I'm still not quite recovered from my surgery. So, Paula brought a big platter of fruit and another of different cold cuts and breads. I supplied drinks and plates. It was very plain and simple.
Here's a picture of the official NazNetters -- Judy Crosby, Barbara Philipp, Dana Grant, Paula Karr, and Naomi Bias (Dana's mom).
I will have to have them all back to my house so I can be a proper hostess sometime.......I really do make things pretty when I FEEL like it!!!
(I got in the back of the picture because I'm still wearing PJs most of the time!! LOL)

Dana must be running a fever or something, because she spelled my last name correctly. I am in shock. I've known her over 5 years and this is like the second time she spelled it correctly.
It was a good time and chatting abounded. It was great to see Judy, Paula, and Mrs. Bias again.
We will have to get together again when we can take Judy and Paula out and about. This gives Tucson ample warning as well, LOL.

You look very happy and very pretty in that picture, Dana. That's a good sign that you are recovering nicely.

We had a great time visiting, and it did my heart good to see how Dana is progressing from her surgery. We reminisced about "the good old days," including the times we got to be with the Mercers.
It was fun to meet Judy and Dana's parents, and it's ALWAYS good to see Barb Philxxx (Did I spell that correctly?)
:fav09 . . . waving back at Marsha and Mama!

What a bunch of charming looking NazNetters. When Dana is fully recovered you could form a basketball team and challenge all comers.

Mr. Franklin: I'm the tallest of the lot at almost 6 feet. Paula Karr is just under 5 foot and the others are in the 5' to 5' 2" tall range. I guess I would be the one standing under the basket. :laughing

Except Dana who is 5'5" -- but it doesn't matter. I doubt any of us could really play basketball!! HA HA

Well, Dana, in spite of wearing jammies most of the time, you're lookin' good! Nice looking striped PJ's, too, BTW. ;)

Thanks, Gina!
Kiddo, what's funny is that when I saw Joyce Meyer at 12:30pm here [don't always, but happened to be cleaning in the LR, so turned it on], I nearly called you to say, "Look at her shirt today! It looks to be the same color of stripes as your PJs! You guys match today!" :basic05 [you see, it wasn't long after I'd seen this picture that I saw her]
Maybe out there it'll be tomorrow's rather than its having been seen there today; maybe you can see "your PJs" on her, hey? :laughing
