beside our John Kennedy, George Wallace and David McClung?

As a suit salesman at JCPENNEYS I had customers by the names of Jeff Chandler, Charlie Daniels and Mohammed Ali. Also had a regular with the last name of Lincoln whom I always addressed him as "Mr. President" to which he addressed me as "Mr. Postmaster."

James Franklin was the name of Ben Franklin's older brother to whom he was apprenticed in the printing business in Boston.

There's not only a sausage company, there's a string of restaurants called Bob Evans. Your brother's post wouldn't have meant much to me if I hadn't taken a trip through Virginia and West Virginia a few years ago. We don't have any of 'em out here.

John Kennedy

John Kennedy I, quite obviously, know. George Wallace I know (or knew of). But who is the OTHER Dave McClung?

After 11/22/63 cashing a check became MUCH easier for me. Some of my students would ask if I was the REAL John Kennedy, to which some of the others would respond, "Of course not, dummy, he's alive."

So doesn't anyone here know Daniel Boone, the famous Nazarene pastor/college president? I think I've met him at least once but can't claim to actually know him personally.

Greg, some years back I sent for a book from an outfit in Ohio called the World Book of Franklins and in it were several hundred thousand listings for people all over the world with the last name of Franklin. I went through each listing and checked each state and foreign area that listed a James, Jim or Jamie Franklin and found out that Texas, was the one area most blessed with about 175 Jim, James or Jamie Franklins in the listing. There was a Jim Franklin who died in a nearby town who passed so I cut out his obituary from the newspaper and kept it until it was time for my vacation weeks from JCPENNEYS and posted it on the bulletin board just as I was leaving. It was still hanging there when I got back and no one said a thing about it on my return so I don't thing I was missed.

Yes, I know Gary Lee. I went to that name because my middle name is Lee. When officials looked at my passport, they saw "Gary Lee" and that was good enough for them.
