Halfway through my husband's sermon this morning the computer stopped feeding the image to the projector.

That's never happened with our old computer. Does anyone know if this is a Window's vista issue?

Is the power setting set to presentation mode? If not the screen may blank out after a certain period of time. Otherwise I haven't a clue.

The laptop screen continued to show what it was supposed to be showing. It just stopped feeding it to the projector.

Could be a million things. Did you get it working after the service?

Press the fcn key with the F4 key, that sets the projector to view what you like. You have 3 different views. 1. see computer screen only, 2. see wall projection only, 3. see wall and computer screen both. It is all done by pressing the fcn key with the F4 keys. Possibly you can do this with the remote as well, not sure...

I think I will wait until the next windows version after Vista. All the probs I have heard about it is worse than XP versions. Apparently Vista has a mind of its own. Mac and Safari is as bad too.

I've herd it is worse than a teenager having a hissy fit! :laughing

Mark, do you know what a hissy fit is? ha

When we called Philip from Kingsport, with plans to buy a Vista, it upset him. Well, we still bought one, but with much guuidance, and Dwayne calling him back and forth, he finally approved the one we bought. He knew what things to check for.

He studied the Recording Music Industry, worked at Vanderbilt in some type of Media work, then quit there , to work with a friend in things connected with computers, wiring for DSL, etc. He does most of the telphone work, answering questions and telling people what thye need to do. So, we let our youngest child advise us. That we minds me of the script where, in the end, we would be the one being led about. ha
Our Dell is XP. You can tell, that I am like soe of you parents. hat is it that I love to talk about?

Now, back to Mark. I could tell you what I was taught "hissy" meant. It would be considered "racist," if we used what parents born in 1910 and 1911, said it means.
