I am posting this here as I know some of the ladies are in the health care and may be able to give me some advice.

I have suffered from migraines most of my life (inherited from my dad, and one daughter, one grandson also has it) however I don't have the pain from the headaches, doctor says cuz of my high tolerance to pain, but I have the migraine auras (bright flashes and crazy patterns) that affect my vision. but they have been few and far between attacks. manageable docs call it.
a few times in the last 5 years or so, I have had severe auras that I can feel coming on, my eyes go to double vision and I hit the floor in dizziness. of course tests, mris etc show nothing so the diagnosis is migraines with auras. However the last couple of months the episodes are happening at least 2x a day sometimes upwords of 6 times a day. Thankfully not while I am driving picking up grands from school. The episodes last less than a couple of minutes but I am debillitated until they pass. I notice I get highly agitated during an episode so I am mindful to just sit quietly and pray while they are happening.

I have been through so many tests, hours and hours of them, don't want to be stuffed with drugs, etc. sick of doctors
I have peace that it is not life threatening but boy is it putting a wrench into my life
I would like it to just go away, but appreciate prayers anyway you feel led.
also if there is any healthy way you know to alleviate migraines, foods, juices etc would love to hear it. except asking me to give up coffee lol
I am otherwise healthy, eat right, get exercise everyday...just this little bugger hanging on.
thanx for listening.

My oldest daughter has been suffering from a migraine all day. For her, its often triggered by a change in weather. (It is rather mild and damp out today) I'll be praying for both of you tonight. :)

My sister has had terrible headaches....not sure if she calls them migraines. She's a strong Christian. She is having accupuncture and she's only had one bad headache since she started going there. May Jesus lead and guide you and show you the way. We really believe in using "natural" cures. One that we use is Mannatech. Praying that Jesus will show you the way to healing! TO GOD BE THE GLORY!

Migraines are horrible. I have suffered from them for a few years. They got worse each time I got pregnant, and haven't let down much since then. I agree with Laurie. My headaches get really bad with the weather change and/ or my cycle. Make sure you stay hydrated, and rest (advice from my Dr.). I will pray for you.
