Add your thoughts about "I have nothing to say"?
Seen on history lessons,
I for my part, I like history - dry or living, coloured told. Once I only get facts (and I have, for example life dates of all european Renaissance and Barock composers, a list of about fivehundred names), I use my phantasy to make them living - and this is very easy - thinking to their wonderful music and the many very interesting biographies and their environment, the time spirits etc etc etc.

The empty vase will say,
"Nobody saved branches on Barbaras day (a few days before christmas), otherwise we had right now pretty flowers".
The red vase will say,
"Please look, the hardness of life, I am misused! Crazy world!"
BUT -
who ever will be interested in the burdens of vases? The blue is pretty old, maybe from end of 19th century or earlier, the red is a cheap modern industry product from the sixties.
Bottom line - cheap or wealthy, does that matter?
At least that entire vase chapter will say nothing.

I made a very pretty blue button
and everybody can change that colour to green, to orange or to red.
Unfortunately the button talks german.
Itself is named submit, but the colours are named blau, grün, orange and rot.
I liked to make another offer "Only For NazNetters" again, now - "colour your own free copy of a pretty blue button" - or so.
Does it make sense, to talk in german - or will say that nothing?
Carsten Schermuly
20th April 2006, 04:16 PM (16:16)
Since the buttons name is submit, its environment is so polite to talk english, so in case of an error, errormessages will appear in english.
A nice service!
Who would get it, once errormessages would appear in german?
Strictly translated, "Irrtums - Botschaft".
Error, Irrtum
erroring, to error, irren
I do error, ich irre
Message, Botschaft
I will try to teach the button to take english colours.
It seems to be better, more harmonic for the whole thing.

The legendary blue button, everybody talks about
is finally online. For a longer time it was unwillingly, now we came to a compromise, it must carry like ever the name 'submit' (it liked more a german name, like 'senden', 'absenden' or so), but gets as better conditions now some colour names in german.

Sometimes it's fun to laugh at silly things, especially for persons who have a bit of sanguine trait in them. The creativity of some of the posters was amazing to me - even in trying to say nothing. Several of us have laughed so hard, especially in the beginning, and gotten immense pleasure out of some of the posts. Deep laughter is good for the body and spirit! I merely bumped it to the top to give Mark Metcalfe a smile since he started the whole thing.
A 'how did you do that' question: You have quoted me in your post with something that I never said, thought or wrote. How did you do that? It is the line with the wav file in it. I couldn't have sent you a wav file at all and don't even know what that really is. Just curious as how that line was attributed to me.

Initially, yes, it was fun. I contributed myself then as well. But after almost 300 posts, creativity is down to zero (or below).

That's easy. I just wrote my answer INSIDE the quote block. This way, I can blame you for what you never wrote! Ain't that fun? :basic05 No seriously, it was a mistake of course.

Oven Fried Okra
1/4 cup cornmeal
Salt to taste
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons salad oil
4 cups fresh okra cut in 1/2 inch slices
Mix cornmeal and seasonings.
Spread some of the oil over a 15x10 inch baking sheet.
Toss okra in the remaining oil.
Dredge okra in cornmeal mixture.
Spread okra on the baking sheet.
Bake at 400 degrees until the okra is golden brown (about 30-40 minutes).
Serves 6 (not in my family) :) This recipe came via my aunt who got it from a small local newspaper in her town. It is delicious and does not have all the oil that fried okra typically has. Sometimes I add a wee bit more oil and cornmeal.
EDITED TO: Correct the amount of cayenne: It is 1/4 teaspoon. Big difference than 1/2 tsp. Sorry about the error!
Enjoy!

As one grows old they gain knowledge, experience and wisdom. This peaks somewhere between the age of 16 and 21. Then you know all there is to know and have all the experience and wisdom that you can have. After that you gradually start losing it until you are a total idiot by the time you are 50. Ask any 16 year old, they know. So I may be an idiot but I can still whisper sweet nothings in my sweety's ear :basic03

Yes, he, - J. F. K., - had really something to say.
As we know, spirit and flesh are splitted, each does look in another direction.
We do not like some details of his life (- and - who does it better?).
But
his thoughts have been brilliant, his mind was upright and independent, his personality was one of the best examples ever seen in world history.
His rememberance is worth his pretty and great Arlington Memorial.
Happy that folk, that could have such a good leader.
He was son of John & Rose.

I forgot to say,
my connection to is no more via the church, because my main interests are in Berlin, northeastern german district.
Years ago I have been often in Hanau, especially before the middleeuropean district was devided. Today the southwestern german district, where Hanau lies, is too large to hold an overview. Not far away from Hanau I married my wife in Büdingen (near Herrenhag, an important place in history of the Bohemian Brethren), we met in Altenstadt. We worked often in Hanau and spent a lot of time as members of an oratory choire (to be precise, Oratorienchor Hanau von 1848 e. V.). So my wife & I do know Hanau well.

The scandinavian grey geese
I did hear the cries - like ever before, does it sound like singing.
But the sound was very weak - far away. It is a luck I could hear and identify it.
I had asked me this year where they had been,
they made two exceptions.
A
They are mindst four weeks later than all the years before on their way to south.
In case, it is allowed to get this as an early sign for winter weather, what could that mean? A relative warm, mild winter? Last winter was already not a real winter, its second half was spring weather.
B
They use always the same corridor - with a small tolerance of about only one hundred meters east / west. This year they came on a way, about one a half miles east from their traditional route. I could not get a photo - the distance was too large, I only could watch them by using a strong hunters night glass.

Cornelius found two years ago a girlfriend in Soumi / Finland. She came as a x-change student to Germany and joined for some weeks Cornelius schoolclass. He has been already several times guest of that very nice family and his girlfriend and her sister have visited us in advent time 2004. For Christmas / New Year Cornelius again was in Finland - and now the story begins to become serious.
Both young people are willingly to share their life for lifetime - and she did let greet and ask us through Cornelius, to see us again in March this year for some weeks.
Oh, yes! You are welcome!
Ruth stood in flames.
"We need new curtains and a better bed and a larger suitcase in guestroom!"
"We need to renew kitchen, living room, bath ..."
Her wish list becomes daily longer.
Every done job is a little victory for her - see the V - spread fingers, ha, ha!
Oh, where are gone my peaceful days, before Cornelius felt in love?
By the way,
Jesus told his joung to go to prepare a home for them. While such parents / children - stories, I often must think to biblical pictures of father / children. What he does to make our life a good life, much better than we parents could do it.

Carsten, you sent so many interesting emails. The house is going to look wonderful. This is an appartment with six rooms, we have rent, it is not ours. It is in the town Bad Gandersheim, next the schools and just a few minutes by foot from towns center. Our farm, three miles outside in a village is not used, it is empty. At present we only use the garden, we get alot of fruits from the trees.
I know that Ruth is thrilled about the house and about the coming wedding. I know the young lady must be a good Christian, to be marrying one of yours and Ruth's sons.Yes, she is a very nice young Lady, intelligent, busy, blessed by an upright, straight mind, she studies and works as a teacher at the same time. Her dad was rector of a highschool, since one year responsible for all schools in their town. Her mother is a physician, dentist and doctor for jaw orthopedy. No wonder the daughter is well educated.
Cornelius engaged her to pray, she followed willingly and we are sure, she will become a child of the Lord. A prior characteristic is, she thinks positive, constructive. I like to listen to her ideas and insights.
Lili is so beautiful. Thanks for sending the pictures. So, is Ruth a stewardess now.Elisabeth is our daughter, Lili (in the US called Lily), we do wait for photos, showing her in uniform.
But - you are right, both of my majesties are butiful, queen and princess.
In Germany houses are decorated with green, also green wrenches for a wedding, with white ribbons. It will look nice (- once it was nice made, ha, ha). We have to wait, it is serious, yes, but we have to be patient to wait for their wedding.
I have no idea who has taken this photo, all I know, it was not Cornelius. Sorry you have to bow your neck. Susanna while a school festival in a sport hall, the Lady in background in dark clothes and looking glasses is her mother.
The second was taken by her sister in a restaurant while Lunch, Cornelius has been there also in summer last year.

Ha, ha! The truth behind that spleeny looking empty pages is - my friend, I do work in common with and I - we want to develop a new PR - device. So I wrote this first version in HTML, planned is to do it in PHP - that makes her able, to add later new pages (to create automatically new pages) just by uploading some text files (title, description, keywords for the meta tags in fileheads and the filebodies content) - a nice time saving method. The second laaarge page is just a design - demonstration "How long might textes be untill the design is damaged?" because the largest background grafic is in height 2000 pix (the thin line at right and left from text area) - and this is the limit for the right now unknown (not counted) amount of text lines. Just a demo. Now I do wait for her critic (feedback) to make changings.
People do say often alot, often too much and often not the truth - especially in the PR sector. We have to use not such tricky phrases, tricky promises etc. We do not need - because our words and hands work are blessed.
This has to say alot.
PR in general has to say nothing - or nearby nothing. Christian Values do need PR too, e. g. like the Jesus - Film. But this will be another chapter. It is matter of the Holy Spirit.
Cut from a family photo
unfortunately she lives 260 miles, 420 kms away

The U S Senate has just spent hours saying nothing followed by a vote not to vote. Maybe the thread should be titled US Senate :basic04This phenomena we can watch in many countries parliaments. I guess, the reason lies in the related currencies. As more Null counters are seen in yearly budget plans, as more empty words do fall in parlamentarian speeches and discusses (helpless situations all over: "Oh, my goodness - how to pay that?").
In other words
the mighty Eight conference, held a few days ago in Germany, has also nearby nothing to say - according to the eight countries richness.

I must respectfully request that Dave's last post be stricken from this thread. The thread is solely intended for those that have nothing to say. Dave's post was in clear violation of this dictum. Albeit Dave did posit that he had nothing to say, he prefaced that by stating "Going for 10,000 views" which was clearly something to say, therefor in violation of the purity of this thread. We have enough threads that get hijacked around here, hijacking this little innocent thread in this manner by Mr. McClung is atrocious and a crime against humanity in general and all bored forumteers in particular. I respectfully ask that the moderator strike his brazen attempt of thread-jacking and have him placed on the "Thread Abusers" watch list if such a list exists. If it does not, I think the heinous nature of his offense clearly warrants the creation of said list with Mr. McClung being the first name placed thusly on said list.

Nothing has chaged - nothing to say. It were another thing to have any grade of autorithy - but I have not. At least I am lonely at home, the elder kids do go on their own ways, the younger have gone for the big Christival 08 event in Bremen.

People do not give up the blessed idea of a great awakeness and do organize big christian events to make the world listen.

There is an english version, I have been blind not to see - sorry!

Having nothing to say, Carsten, is not always a lamentable thing.
God bless you.

The Christival 08 made top politics.
One of the planned workshops during this days, has been "Jesus Christ can make you free from homosexuality".
This took the leaders of the green party of government in Berlin to label the Christival 08 organisators as mind sick, as spinners. Very naughty speeches have been in Newspapers, TV and Radio news - blasphemia. The most green politicians are communists - just the time of communism is gone, so they make a more civil face and like to appear as the good minded with the better moral of "accept minorities". In Parliament Deutscher Bundestag was dealt with the questions "Is homosexuality a sickness?" and "Can homosexuality be healed?" - and after mind of the fallen world, this better knowers got mighty applause.
The Christival 08 - organisators have striked out that workshop from their lists. After this big inner german discuss everybody does know how to decide. The christians (as ambassadors of Golgotha) have got best PR - attention, best headlines on top of communication mediums in all german speaking countries.
No question is unanswered.
Now people do know "The Lord can do all things ever - also to make free from homosexuality".
We do know -
The Victory Is Lain In Hands Of The Arisen And Living God Forever.
What ever is done must show in end his majesty.

Nothing to say
The names of the green parlamentarians are forgotten in a few years.
The names of the saved are written in book of life.
