Any out there, we handled a couple in younger years, Pythons, boy those things are real dry to touch, and believe me, all muscle! Anyone else tried handling snakes, none venomous preferable?

I had the opportunity to "baby sit" a 9-foot Python (Bo) for a few months after his "daddy" had a motorcycle accident. He was AWESOME!
The hardest part was explaining to my little girl that the rabbits we brought home were food for Bo and were NOT pets. She took the news better than I expected she would, though. She'd known Bo almost her entire life and had come to love him.

Thats neat, though you are brave, would be terrified of a decent sized one around children.

Not really, still feel rather yuck and with not an ounce of strength.

While I realize that the news of your financial blessing may not have your physical infirmity post-haste -- it just seems your topics today are lighter and more outward.... Just my observation...

Eeewww! Po' po' bunny wabbits!! :(
Can't help but feel about snakes as I do about spiders. Remember that old, "I don't like spiders or snakes ...." and a few other critters thrown in there, too, in a funny old song? :laughing
Think this is the song:

Has anyone ever tried to guess at the contents of a thread by its subject title? Boy was I way off on this one. I though maybe it was about cousins in Kentucky.
