emails that say my email failed to go through, but they are emails that I never sent in the first place. They are people I do not know.

Bob,

Those are probably emails that are generated by viruses. It could be a virus on your machine, but is most likely a virus on someone else's computer and your email was used as the "return address", the failed email address was probably also grabbed from the other person's machine.

If you do a virus scan and nothing is found, then you can probably always just delete the email warning.

Good advice, I get those too. I just delete them. I also get emails that say RE: and a subject, like they are replying to an email I sent but I didn't. I just delete them too.

I also have been getting so many emails from "your email address won the lottery" or letters from Nigeria saying we have money for you, or amny other places as well as Nigeria. It has increased 4 or 5 times as much in thr last couple weeks. I have marked all of them as spam, so now only a few get through into my in box. Its too bad someone cant do anything about these.
