As we get older in years, we can see more clearly it seems. I have been corresponding with an young African pastor in a country in Africa that is relatively at peace right now. I do not want to put his life in danger so I will not give the name of the country. I have tried to help him financially so he does not need to worry about the necessities of life but because the country is so corrupt (even banks) that is very difficult to do so. No one can be trusted. All I can say is that he is with an organized church and it is not Nazarene.
I was trying to tell him how important his job is to his country and that from leading people to Christ, Christian leaders may come from his ministry and go into the government and make the country safe and prosperous.
There is much discussion the board about our church these days but I can see now where we are "just playing church" here. We really need the "Power of God" to fight against the things you are about to read. (Ephesians 6:12) Please take the time to read his words below. I wish ever Christian American and Canadian could read this email to know the kind of thing we are up against. This is purely satanic stuff going on in these African countries. We need more than guns and mediation to fight against this kind of thing...we need God's help!

He says, Unhappily, you are right, our police are not honest here, they adore corruption. In fact if our government wasn't bad we should be a very prosperous Country.
There is so many promises of changes and development, but we never see nothing, instead we see suffering. You see, how is it possible that during just a year there is more than three times of increasing bread and fuel. It is not easy to buy just a roll of bread now here. It is not easy to take a bus to work, thing are very expensive. A great number of people go to work for nothing, they spend much money on bus, sending their children to school. But the government never cares on this, as long as their children survive.
Today, there is terrible problem in many different areas of ________ and even death of people that are rebelling against the high price of transport. There is a strike and many people has to walk long distance in order to get to the work, because there is no car going, an the streets are blocked.
You are right Bob, I believe on you, and this is something I say sometimes to my friends, that America is a blessed country because their people care for other people, and that's why you can see even in there money written: In God we trust.
And many times of my prayer is to ask myself why we or our government seek the example of U.S , what is so difficult that makes us not prospering like other countries!
Any way, it is our obligation to continue to pray for ourselves and our government, hoping that one day we will see some changes, as it is written in Luke 1:37 For nothing is impossible with God.
I want to share with you a sad news happened last week, all this shows that we are in war. Satan is fighting in order to see God's people loosing the heaven. There was caught in fragrant, a truck transporting about 40 children. The truck was coming from north of _________ in direction to _____. Those children were of ten to fifteen years old. And when interviewing the driver of this truck, he said he was just hired to transport the children , and he did not know about this situation. But it was known that they were taking the children to the Muslim temple to study about Koran. But people are in doubt, for which purpose they are being taken from their homes by force.
Well, this is a very sad news because many parents of these kids do not know nothing about them, so this was considered as kidnapping, and it is also strange because the education ministry doesn't know nothing about the existence of this school in Muslim temple. And there was again found more than 200 children in many different Muslim temples. So if the government is honest, they should not let them do their work there before they clarify why are they doing this, which purpose.
Any way what to do, just praying for our country that one day we should live in peace, as you said we need to continue to preach in faith.
