Mine, too. We're going to be at 81 today, and about that all the way through Saturday. I saw on the Today show that the wind chill in Cleveland made it feel like 1 degree. No THANK YOU!

If you want to offer sympathy for snow you're gonna have to go a lot farther north than Nashville. Michigan for example? :fun01

No school today...again! The neighborhood kids are out in force and having a blast. Snow is no worry for me...I wasn't going anywhere today!

Maybe we could use a little NazNet blowtorch/flamethrower to warm things up a little.

I've never completely understood the vast hatred for snow. It's almost like some people just think it's what you're supposed to do. At least, I know the media around here makes it out to be the worst thing ever.

I love it. I love it even more when it makes things stop. It's almost like God's way of forcing sabbath upon us.

And the purity of it is beautiful. There's nothing like waking up to everything covered with snow.

I've never been a person to make up my mind based on what others think I'm supposed to think.

I hate being cold. I hate wearing a heavy coat, gloves, boots, etc. I hate having to scrape snow and ice off my car. I hate having to wait for the heater to kick in. I hate having my car slide out of control. I hate having my car break down in a blizzard and having to spend the night at a (not-very-tidy) friend's house, just because it was within walking distance of the broken down car.

Yep, nobody told me how to feel about snow. I just hate it all on my own!

I will admit to being a snow hater. I was caught in a horrible snow storm last February in Colorado Springs and the year before stuck in a blizzard on Snoqualmie (sp?) Pass in Washington State. If I never see snow again I am okay with that.

I do have some wonderful memories of playing in the snow December 1997 in Tennessee. We were in Tullahoma and we went sledding at the Normandy Dam.... it was incredible!!! We still have our sleds from that trip but they don't get much use here in Texas.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to direct it at you. :)

The media around here builds people up before storms to make us believe that it's horribly bad news, and it seems that people eat it up and are always commiserating with one another about it.

My wife and I love it.

No offense taken. :basic01

I just got back from my workout at Curves. I had the sunroof open on my car while driving over and back.

(Do we have a "gloat" smiley? No? Guess I'll just have to post the one wearing sunglasses. :basic07)

Have a great day!

See, that's the thing, I'm not a big hot weather fan. I guess I'm just in the minority. I love the seasons - I'd prefer to dip in the extremes every year. Thankfully, my wife and I are one and the same on this. If we had to chose whether to go north or south for every vacation, we'd surely choose north.

Back when I worried about such things, I was sure that the temperature in Heaven would be between 73 and 77.

Yes, I saw that [on the weather map in the middle of the night; not on the Today show, tho'], and I recalled hearing that the south gets even warmer weather as we get colder weather up here [La Nina, rather than ElNino, or something like that?]. Having lived through several AZ winters, I do realize this is a higher-than-normal (but very nice!!) temp. Boy, do I wish I were still out there .............. in the worst/best(?) way!!!

The media around here builds people up before storms to make us believe that it's horribly bad news ............

But, Jeremy! It is!!

............. and it seems that people eat it up and are always commiserating with one another about it.Don't need anyone to get the commiseration going; I can do that just fine all by myself, too (as Paula said). For instance, yesterday (again!!) when I needed to get a few things at the store, it took me three hrs, no less, to push myself outside to get there, not wanting to go out in this stuff!! Then the wind blows right through ya ......................

Yes, definitely an IHL club member, who's not going to resign from the club. ;)

My wife and I love it.That's good, since you live where you get enough of it. ;)

I LOVE Snow! In fact I was the original president (and may still be for all I know) of the NazNet "I LOVE Snow Club!" Of course snow has it's drawbacks, but it's better than heat! I was in Texas one April, before the Texans thought it was hot. I had to leave a day early because the heat was making me sick.

Maybe for some bodies. Then there are those of us whose bodies seem to thrive in warmth & sunshine ... ahhhhhhh. Just dreamin' ................. [wish dreams could muster up some of that heat/sunshine!]
