A friend of my daughter has a grandparent who is celebrating their 16th birthday today. I don't know them personally. If it were me, I'd be throwing myself a "Sweet 16" birthday party!

We have one in our church. She turns 12 today...but its only her third birthday I guess.

A friend's daughter was born on Feb. 29th. She is 16, so they say she is 4. Perhaps she will be thankful when she is older that her birthday only occurs every 4 years, even though she will be older each year.

I hope not...because my daughter is going to a Sadie Hawkins dance tonight with her boyfriend. There better not by any proposing!
