Are they still the same?
This post may seem trivial to some, but with a blind elderly relative, I am en interested in protecting my eyes.
Are any certain brands better than others?

With sunglasses, you get what you pay for. Oakley is good. Bolle is good. Ray Ban is good. The main difference between good sunglasses and cheap ones is in terms of comfort and the quality/durability of the construction. The good ones also come with extras like a case and a cleaning cloth.

Only durability & construction, huh? HOPE, then, that when the cheaper ones (I lose them enough, it seems, that I like "cheap") that say they provide 100% UVA/UVB protection really do, and it is only a construction thing (have had a few break, too, before I had a chance to lose them).
Anyone know about this particular aspect of it ... can we believe that "100% UVA/UVB protection" claim on all of them?
Thanks!
