say good bye to some old, well enjoyed friends
both the trees and hard earned monies from my account:basic04

Oh no! Those aren't the Bradford Pears we were just talking about, are they? I always hate to lose a tree. We've lost 5 on our property since we moved here 12 years ago, three to lightning and two to disease.

that is sad :( While I wish my husband would get around to cutting way back the oleanders we have growing, I'd be heartbroken to lose beautiful trees like that.

Those look like branches you lost, Judy. The trunks still look solid and healthy enough. It is sad, though, to see those healthy limbs ruined.
Watch for new (and perhaps stronger) growth to come, to replace the lost limbs. I hope this will be so.

We are divided on trees. I want to keep them and ahe wants to get rid of them.

Gord the trunk was split way way down,,so now it is about 18 inches tall
i plan to place a planter of pretty flowers on it
in memory of...
