Yesterday, as I was sending an e-mail to a friend, I was explaining that at times I feel "crazy"... wonder what in the world I'm doing. I constantly double think things, worry about whether or not what I'm doing is hindering the walk of another, etc... I.E. perfect example... the thread on medesty as I was sharing pictures of the swimsuit we had purchased for our daughter, I spent all kinds of time finding it so I could share it with everyone. As I found the skirt and even had posted the link, I got to thinking... Wait a minute... that picture had a woman's belly showing... The first picture with just the tank top did not. Well, IMHO... after thinking about it, I felt that knowing what some of the posts have said about how inappropriately women dress for church, isn't it inappropriate to post a woman's bare belly in a swimskirt on Naznet? I wouldn't want to be a stumbling block for anyone, so I went back and deleted the links. That's just an example of what I'm talking about when I mean I double think things.

Low and behold, I shared my story of feeling as if I'm crazy at times yesterday, just prior to going to the evening service. The pastor begins to preach from James 1... he's reading along when I hear this verse pop out at me!!!! James 1:8 "he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does."

See, even the BIBLE says we're unstable!!!! So now I'm thinking I'm not that crazy after all!!!! lol, because even the Bible says man is "double-minded" and "unstable"... and all these years I was afraid that MAYBE I had inherited something from my ancestors, or that maybe my kids were going to inherit something from me!!!

You see, that's the trouble with thinking. That's why I try not to. :fun06

I am sure Sue is correct and the author of the scripture did not mean that the your gender is "double minded." Probably means just "old geezers."
