When we begin to use phrases in different context than their original, and impose personal perspective too widely, that phrase sometimes loses its value. Whatever has contributed to the Kingdom has been solely by his grace. Some of us have perhaps from time to time remembered that more than other times. I am constantly amazed at how the Holy Spirit uses whatever and whomever seems to be available.
That some fail to see that dependence because it is expressed and/or carried out differently than their own experience doesn't make it not so: Americans specialize in that. From place to place and person to person, such can be found across North America, and likely elsewhere.
It is, however, a profound reliance on God that has characterized Nazarenes both in the US and around the world. While we need reminders to maintain such reliance, let's not get caught up in any kind of "So and so is more spiritual than anybody else." We are international partners, and in the Body of Christ, as different parts thrive, the rest of the Body rejoices, and especially rejoices that the Head of the Body uses those parts He chooses to accomplish His work. Labeling and accusation only serves to divide the Body. We, by his grace, can rise above that.
