Thank you for posting this, Christer, and welcome to NazNet. Thanks to the NewStart website, I've listened to you preach often enough to feel like I know you already. Hope things are going well there.

Christer! Thanks so much for posting the vignette on the net. It will allow so many people that weren't able to get to the service to be able to feel like they are able to share a part of it and get to know Brad a little better. You are wonderful to do that.
love,
karen

I wonder where I can get one of those "Optimist Club" jersey's. Do you think they still make them?

That was a great video.

I assume you mean the meal just after the Memorial Service?
Yes, it was prepared with contributions from both Frisco and RCN.

Hey Christer, I am so glad you have jumped on to Naznet. We just walked in from our trip home. It seems a long time ago since we left your home. Thank you and Karin so much for your hospitality. Emmy, the kids and I all love you and your family so much. We miss you already more than we can say. Kaylah showed me the photo of our two families taken on Sunday at the new church property. It was on someone's facebook account. I am not sure whose but it is a great photo.
BTW I was the one that made the vignette up for the memorial service.

OK, left the computer on nearly a couple of hours ago, knowing things could go a bit faster that way, and late at night, too. It told me it would take 1 hr & 45 min to DL this 3 minutes or so thing. Sure enough ... came in when it had been about that much time, and it said 5 minutes + was left yet.

Anyway, tell me who was singing on that vignette ... which was very nicely done, BTW. Thanks.

Mahalia Jackson was the artist. Something about her singing had captured Brad's heart many years ago. He just loved to listen to her sing.

Not sure why I didn't recognize her; maybe b/c I tho't it was supposed to be someone local, rather than known? Have to listen again, now that it's been DL'd, and then I might recognize her. Thanks.
